My hard drive has to reformat it and that means I loose.. Everything. Everything in the hard drive.. I have everything in my phone BUT…

A Night Out In The City || Finn & Quinn

A smile grew on her face as she listened to Finn talk about what he wanted to do. She had heard him talk about it before when they were amongst their group of friend but it still made her smile. He was an army guy that had come back with no visible scars from the war but then again, Quinn wasn’t entirely sure what had happened when he was there. She knew he had worked on the vehicles, not on the battlefield but she still wasn’t sure about what had happened over there. Quinn watched him, wanting to ask him something about being over there but she wasn’t sure whether she should or not. She would save it for another time, that was the conclusion she came to as she took another sip of her beer. “See, I think you should do what makes you the happiest, Finn. I could see you working in music more than I could see you working in a garage. There’s nothing wrong with working on cars but I think in the end, you’d be happy in music,” Quinn said softly before shaking her head because she didn’t know why she had just said all of that. She should have just nodded because while they were friends, how did she know what would make him happy in the end. “Then again, you know what would make you happiest, so, ignore me.” Quinn let out a small laugh before taking another sip of her beer, realizing that it was almost finished. As she looked back up, her eyes caught Finn’s and she listened to what he was saying. Another blush appeared on her cheeks and she wanted to say that she hated that he could make her blush like this but she couldn’t, it was nice. When he brought his hand to rest upon hers, Quinn bit her bottom lip. It wasn’t fair because her lustful brain was now changed to something else. She let out a soft breath when he had finished. “Thank you,” was all she could get out. There was nothing else she could say at the moment, how could she? Finn had always been the guy who she connected to Rachel, she had never seen him as anything else but now, he was this guy. He was this whole other guy who gave her compliments that made her throat dry. It definitely wasn’t fair. Quinn was thankful that he had ordered another round because she had finished her beer rather quickly after that in an effort to clear her brain. She put her finished beer back on the table top and shrugged at his question. “Life’s… life. When I work, I think about Beth. When I’m with Beth, I think about work. I know I should be thinking about my daughter when I’m with her and my work when I’m at work but it’s difficult. My brain does things like that,” she said with a small laugh. Quinn smiled when the waitress brought another round to them and took the beer from her, running her finger around the top of the beer. “What do you say, we finish these and then go to Central Park?” Quinn asked, looking at him with a smile. “I mean, I don’t see us successfully sneaking in if we’re drunk and it wouldn’t be that much fun. Then again, it’s up to you, Finn.” Her eyebrow cocked slightly before she took a sip of her beer again and looked around the bar. It was still filled with the same people as it was when they had first entered. She glanced back to Finn with the same smile on her face.

“Yeah, we should start making our way to park soon.” Finn said taking another drink from his beer and putting it down after taking a gulp. It took Finn a while to notice his hand was on hers, and he honestly didn’t remember putting it on there. “I’m sorry about touching your hand there..” He chuckled rubbing his thumb over her hand once more before pulling it away. It was at this moment Finn could feel something for Quinn.. It was more than them being ‘just friends’ and it did involve them getting.. Involved with one another, but the thoughts pushed away to the back of his mind as he looked over at the beautiful blonde once more. “I mean all of that, you know..” Finn said with a small smile. “You’re probably one of the most beautiful girls of all New York, and you know.” He said taking another drink from his beer and finishing it off.  Finn looked into her hazel orbs once more and he couldn’t help but smile once again. He knew that he was acting like a schoolboy that had a small crush on the prettiest girl that went to their sister school, but he could’t help it when he was around her. There were times when he would stay with her and never want to leave her bed. Not only because it was warm, but because of the fact that she was there. Sure, he was dating Rachel at that time but he wanted to stay inside bed with her. Thing was is that he was dating Rachel, and he loved her.. At that time. Of course the more time he spent with Quinn the more that he could feel himself being pulled away from Rachel and being more attracted to Quinn. She was beautiful, and even if she had her affair with some guys they never did treat her right. He was always in the background waiting to make his move but someone always came and swooped her up when he was about to make his move. Of course, half those relationships ended with the guy being the biggest douche ever. The only guy who treated her right was Puck, and Puck was a good guy.. But they didn’t want anything further. “Ready to go?” He asked with a smile, standing up and holding his hand out. “It’s going to be a bit hard finding a opening inside the park.. But I know one spot that stays open.. Plus I have some pull with a old friend in NYPD.. I think we can spend the rest of night there.. If you want.” He said with a smile. “Because I know going home also sounds good too, but.. I like spending time with you. It’s nice and I’m having a great night with one of the most beautiful girls in the world.: He said with a smile. His eyes roamed to her legs and a feeling of lust started to grow inside him. Was it lust that he felt?.. Or was it love?

We probably did. All I really remember is us just hanging out and me eating bacon a lot. The movies became a blur over time. Beautiful and probably the best person in the world? I don’t deserve those compliments, Finn, but thank you. You’re awesome for that and for watching them with me again. And yes, we should watch Chicago. We should always watch Chicago. Everyone should watch Chicago.

Okay… it is a little rude but it’s just something I shrug off. Frannie did teach me to always say hello as well but sometimes you don’t have time to say hello. Sometimes you just have to say what you need to first and then say hello.

Well, I think you do, Quinn.. Really I think you do because it’s true and all. Well yeah, there were times where you just fell asleep on my while watching the movie. Then I remember there was one time that you wanted me to stay.. And I did. I just slept on the sofa since it would have been weird if you woke up next to me and all, since.. You know. We’re friends and all.. 

Well yeah, but that’s when it’s like work or something. Not with friends though.. Should always say hi first.

Yeah, it’s a good movie to watch with someone else. A small amount of my movie collection contains movies that are awesome when two people watch them. But you’re right, maybe we should watch it together sometime.

Well, true but in my books, you should really be sorry if you do something horrible like run over a kitten or a person or you know, eat the last of the bacon.

Quinn, I think we went though like half of them when I was taking care of them, but.. Since I think you’re beautiful, and probably like.. The best person in the world. I’ll watch them all with you.. Again. Just.. Lets make sure to watch Chicago, because CZJ is totally hot.

It’s rude in my books.. Because well.. It’s like not saying hi and all, you know? It’s just.. Kinda rude to me I guess.. Mom taught me that back when I was a kid and all.

I totally wouldn’t see that movie alone.. It kinda sounds like one of those movies that sounds awesome with like.. Two people. That’s totally awesome.. We should watch it sometime.

A Night Out In The City || Finn & Quinn

Quinn crossed her legs under the table, glancing around the bar. It was filled with so many memories from the girls nights out with Santana, Rachel and Brittany and then the entire group of them huddled around one booth with chairs pulled up as well. It was the place that they went, it was theirs. That had changed slightly when she fell pregnant with Beth but no matter what, it was still their place. It was their version of Cheers. Then again, there were a lot of memories of the entire group in places all over the city. Her and Puck’s apartment was definitely one of them, it was the place where she found out that there was really more to Finn than just the title of Rachel’s boyfriend. He had been there throughout the cravings and the emotions and her pregnant brain. That had been basically the last moments of just them until tonight. It was definitely different from those nights in the apartment. For one, she wasn’t carrying another human being inside of her. That changed everything. Her eyes found Finn again as he made his way back over to their booth. This was the night for her to just let go and have fun. Whatever happened between the two of them, Quinn was just going to shut off her brain. Her brain usually gave her good advice, not that she ever followed it. Anyway, she wasn’t sure what kind of advice she would give herself if anything happened between them during the night. Quinn knew that she had zoned out because Finn’s lips were moving and she had absolutely know idea what he had started talking about before she snapped out of it. A small blush appeared on her cheeks from his compliments and she smiled as she looked down at beer. “Thank you, Finn,” Quinn said softly. “You’re not too bad yourself. Handsome and sexy would my choice for you tonight.” She wasn’t always so forward like that but it did seem like the place and it wasn’t lies. Quinn took her beer in her hands and clanked it against his. “To a night of us,” she repeated, taking a drink, before answering the question he had asked beforehand. “Beth’s good… She’s perfect. I mean, I had never expected to have her but when I did, I couldn’t remember a time when she wasn’t all I had expected in life. She misses everyone though, she loves you all. You’re all like her second family.” Quinn let out a small breath before she took another drink of her beer. Her finger traced the beer as she looked up at him. “How about you? How’s everything?”

“Besides the job and all.. It’s not that bad.” Finn said smiling back at the blonde. He couldn’t help but give her a small mile and look down while continuing to speak. “You know… I really do want to work and all. I only do because I kinda miss doing something, you know?.. That and that music is one of the few things that I know that I know how to do.. Well besides working on cars and all, but I kinda want to keep that a hobby you know? Since I kinda did that in the army and all.. I didn’t see any combat or anything but working on cars became more like a chore since then.” He said taking up his beer up  to his lips and drinking some of it. Finn’s eyes went to hers and he couldn’t help but smile once more. ” I think I told you this when you were pregnant, and I’m going to have to tell you again.. I think you have the most.. Beautiful eyes, Quinn.” He said with a smile. Finn knew that he wasn’t anywhere near buzzing or drunk, but he couldn’t help but compliment her. I mean it too.. You are beautiful, and you know.. I’m kinda glad I have the right to say that you and I slept on the same bed and did nothing together.” He chuckled to himself, “Because honestly.. I think half the world would do anything to be with you, and you know.. I’m one of the few that get’s to say that I know her and all.” Once again he chuckled before looking up at one of the waitresses and ordering another round for the both of them; “I’m talking to you like if you’re some sort of celebrity.. Which you kinda are to me.” He said looking into her eyes, and feeling something more than just lust for her. He always knew that he had small feelings for her, but that was when he was taken by Rachel. Since he’s single now he couldn’t help but feel a bit more attracted to her. More than ever before. “You’re beautiful, and you’re smart.. Oh, and you’re totally nice and sweet and all, so that’s a major plus.” He said with a small smile. “But you know.. Anybody who gets you.. Would be the luckiest person in the world.” He said putting his hand on top of hers and giving her a smile. “I mean it too..” He said with a smile and slowly moving his thumb over her hand. It was this moment he could feel himself wanting more than just a friendship, but he knew that he would have to get everything right tonight if anything were to happen. “But anyways…” He said pulling away and still having his hand on top of hers. “How’s life with you?.. I know you’re super busy and all.” He said with a smile, pulling his beer to his lips and finishing the rest of his previous beer.

That sounds good. Yeah! I really do like it so far.. It’s better than being home and that’s for sure. It kinda sucked being home and all.. I liked it but only went so far, you know?

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I’m thinking about picking up another job but I feel as if that would be too much.
